I don’t really have anything of any importance to say today, but I haven’t been here in a while, and I am trying to make my way to a more regular blogging schedule.
So here are the highlights:
It’s time for finals. I’m simultaneously overwhelmed and not doing enough. After next week, it’s time for a little break, and I’m more than ready.
Running. It hasn’t happened in I don’t even know how long. I believe it’s time to start over with C25K. I have a March 5K tentatively planned, so this should work out just right.
Other workouts. They’re happening.
Weight loss. It’s pretty much not happening.
Eating well. Also not happening. No excuses, just not making good choices.
Adventurous things. I’m trying to step out of my comfort zone and live life a little more. I tried a “pole fitness” class while in Florida. Loved it. I went ice skating and really enjoyed it. I hadn’t been in a while and had a slight fear of falling, breaking both legs, and being skated on my teenagers. I’m happy to report that none of that happened. Most recently, my friends and I took circus lessons. More specifically, we took an aerial workshop using the silks (long pieces of fabric that hang from the ceiling). It was tough, but fun and I learned that all those push ups I’ve been doing have done absolutely nothing for me. Hopefully I can get around to doing a little recap on that.
Other stuff. I’ve decided I need to clean/purge/organize my apartment. It’s out of control.
